In this section, we present achievements made to solve disability problems for accessing boats.

Compass Marine is able to design and build automatic gangways to make it possible for the disabled to access boats and therefore through the use of wheelchairs. The width of the walking surface allows the passage of the wheelchair, the double automatic folding handrail allows maximum safety and the mobile slides eliminate the presence of steps between the quay and the boat's walking surface. The dimensions of the gangway can be modified for each different need, according to the type of boat. The movement is controlled by means of a control panel and a radio control supplied.

The supporting structure is made of aluminum and AISI 316 stainless steel, the platforms in EASY TEAK composite material manufactured by Compass Marine itself, can be customized on request. The vital points of the mechanics are secured by pins and screws in AISI 316 stainless steel specially built in the factory. The pistons are extremely sturdy, built entirely in AISI 316 stainless steel. The fittings to the pipes are stainless steel. The handrail can be folded down automatically. The gangways are built to support considerable weights, at maximum extension they are however guaranteed for 300Kg.
